TL;DR

AI summary of the plugin's readme

This plugin is for WordPress site Editors who use the default TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor to write content. It solves the problem of not being able to see the underlying HTML structure while editing, by highlighting block-level elements with colored borders and labels directly in the editor.

  • Highlights prominent HTML elements
  • Colored border and label highlighting
  • Highlights p, div, pre elements
  • Highlights span and code elements
  • Per-user profile settings
  • Option to cancel default WYSIWYG styles
  • Works with editor-style.css

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about AddFunc WYSIWYG Helper

Average WYSIWYG Helper has one central options page that applies to all users. AddFunc WYSIWYG Helper settings are set on individual user profiles, applying only to the user account one is setting the options for. This difference however, is sort of an update to the plugin, just being released simultaneous to another big change, which is that the project name "Average" is being changed to "AddFunc".
I have not tested it on earlier versions. In fact, I could use help with testing. Feel free to try it out in an earlier version and let me know if it works! :)
