No. Events are written to a queue during the request, and the network call happens after the page has already been delivered to the shopper, using fastcgi_finish_request() where the host provides it. If your host does not, the send is capped at two seconds per request and the rest is handed to Action Scheduler.

No, and there is no setting to make it so.

Events queue up and retry. Nothing is lost, and the Queue tab shows you exactly what is waiting.

No. Deactivating stops sending and keeps everything. Only deleting the plugin removes its data.

Yes. Put [aminoengine_code_gate purpose="wholesale_portal" redirect="/wholesale/"] on a page. They type their email address, Amino Engine emails them a six-digit code, they type it, and they are in for twelve hours. There is no password to reset and your site never stores the code.

No. It proves somebody can read email at that address, which is the right strength for a price list or a portal. It is not a WordPress user and it grants no permissions, so keep using real customer accounts for order history and anything that can be changed.
