No. The plugin works fully without registration and is free.

Not for the badges. They are rendered on your server, and your visitors' browsers never contact amzly.de. The optional click counting stores no personal data either — only date, post and ASIN.

Because the badge shows amzly.de's price rating, and the full price history behind it is on amzly.de. The way to Amazon is the Amazon button — and, once you enter your partner tag, the product name and image. A plugin must never put someone else's affiliate tag into your posts, so all of these carry your tag or none.

Yes, in two ways. Enter it under Amzly → Settings → Amazon and switch on the Amazon button: it then links to the product on amazon.de with your tag, and product names and images link there too. If you also have access to the Amazon Creators API, you can let the plugin fetch prices straight from Amazon with your own credentials — then Amazon's price display rules apply to data that really comes from your account.

Amazon only grants Creators API access to associates with 10 qualified sales through the API in the last 30 days. Until then Amazon answers "not eligible", and the plugin keeps using amzly.de. Test connection to Amazon in the settings shows whether the token, the partner tag or the eligibility is the problem.

Because there is not enough price history yet. Products that were just added to amzly.de have no comparison basis; the badge colours itself in automatically, usually within an hour. My amazon.com link does not work That is on purpose. The price data is amazon.de in euros. A badge on a link to another marketplace would claim a price that does not apply there.

Yes. The badge is plain server-rendered HTML with no JavaScript, and light/dark switching happens in CSS. A fully cached page still adapts to each visitor.

Badges keep showing the last price they had. The plugin pauses its requests after repeated errors and retries by itself. Tools → Site Health shows whether the connection works.
