When your site is connected it checks in with us once a day, to keep your licences, updates and support working and to warn you about problems. It sends the site address and name, the plugins installed (with their versions and whether they are active), the active theme, the WordPress, PHP and MySQL versions, whether it is a multisite, its language, and whether Turnstile protection is on. We keep only the most recent copy and delete it when you disconnect the site. We do not collect your site's content or your visitors' data. See our terms & conditions.

Yes. A staging site on a public address works like any other site. A site on localhost or a private network connects the same way and collects updates from us itself, because our server cannot reach it. Install our update plugin by hand on it (the Connect screen shows how). Temporary support user access is not available there.

No, you can register a free account on our site which will provide you with live documentation search and the ability to get support directly from your wp-admin area.

Yes, our system will only connect via HTTPS ensuring all passed data is encrypted. Every command we send to your site is signed by us, only accepted for your site, and expires, so it cannot be forged or replayed. Additionally, we built our systems in such a way that;
