Yes. The plugin is the bridge between BlackAha and your store: competitor tracking, market data and pricing rules live in your BlackAha dashboard, and the plugin's job is to apply the resulting prices to your WooCommerce products safely.

In your BlackAha dashboard, under Pricing rules. The visual builder lets you pick which products a rule covers (all, or by SKU, category or brand), what to react to (lowest/highest/average competitor price, one specific competitor's domain, Smart Price profiles, or your own price), what the new price should be (match, percentage or fixed-amount difference, or a fixed price, with optional rounding), and the price limits that are always enforced last.

Not if you set price limits. A floor and a ceiling are applied after every rule, on every branch, so no rule can take a product below the margin you protect. On top of that, the plugin itself refuses any update it cannot apply unambiguously instead of guessing.

Simple products and individual product variations, matched by SKU. The SKU must identify exactly one product. A variable product cannot be priced directly — use the SKU of each variation.

The plugin is sale-aware. A new price below the regular price becomes the sale price and your regular price is preserved; a new price at or above the regular price replaces the regular price and ends the sale.

The reason is listed under WooCommerce → Pricing Updater, in Recent price updates, and is also reported back to BlackAha. The usual causes are an unknown or duplicated SKU, a price in a different currency, or more decimals than your store uses.

Make sure your site is served over HTTPS and publicly reachable, then press Connect again — a new attempt issues fresh credentials and safely replaces any half-finished connection.

Yes, by design. Updates are only delivered over HTTPS, every request is verified with your signing secret, must be recent, and cannot be replayed. The webhook address is random and unique to your store, and each update is applied exactly once even if it is delivered twice.

The secret is stored on your server and is never displayed again after the connection is made — not in the admin, not in logs. If you ever reconnect, a new secret is issued and the old one stops working immediately.

Only what the connection needs: at connect time, your site's address and the plugin's own endpoint addresses; afterwards, the result of each price update (whether it was applied, and the price now in effect). Customer and order data are never read and never sent.
