Log in to the Cloudflare dashboard and go to My Profile → API Tokens. Click Create Token, then choose Create Custom Token. Give the token a name (e.g. "Block Logins WP"). Under Permissions, add: Zone → Zone → Read, and Zone → Firewall Services → Edit. Under Zone Resources, select Specific zone and choose your domain. Click Continue to summary, then Create Token. Copy the token — it is shown only once — and paste it into the plugin settings. Full instructions: https://developers.cloudflare.com/fundamentals/api/get-started/create-token/

Your token needs Zone → Zone → Read and Zone → Firewall Services → Edit permissions for the relevant zone.

In your Cloudflare dashboard, select your domain and look for the Zone ID in the Overview tab.

This plugin blocks IPs at the Cloudflare firewall, stopping attacks before they reach your server.

It detects bots and vulnerability scanners that probe your site by requesting many non-existent URLs. When an IP exceeds the configurable 404 threshold, it is blocked via Cloudflare just like a brute-force login attacker.
