No. WooCommerce Product Gallery blocks remain native and unsupported in this release. Gallery Spotlight does not replace or take over block galleries.

When WooCommerce native video media is enabled and readable, it is included in the parent Gallery Spotlight gallery on supported classic surfaces. Access is read-only; Gallery Spotlight does not write or migrate WooCommerce core media metadata.

Yes. Each product has individual settings for autoplay, loop, mute, and show/hide video controls. These settings apply to both the inline gallery player and the lightbox.

The plugin is designed with Core Web Vitals in mind. The first image loads eagerly with fetchpriority="high" and a <link rel="preload"> hint; later images use browser-native loading="lazy". The plugin's scripts load only on single-product pages, and the Vimeo Player SDK only when the product has a Vimeo video.

The plugin deactivates gracefully and displays an admin notice asking you to install WooCommerce.
