Which is exactly why the tool costs a whole lot less than the customers it saves you.
Clatree tells you the moment it detects that the one thing that matters most in your store, the ability to buy, has stopped working. Say your payment or shipping methods stop showing up. Or your coupon code does not work, or it works but discounts nothing. Or your cart or checkout takes far too long to load. Now you finally have control: you will know about it, you will get instructions on how to fix it, and if those instructions are not enough, you can lean on our team for support.
Yes. The plugin is the store-side half of a hosted service and cannot monitor anything on its own. There is a free package, and paid ones; both are listed at clatree.com/pricing.
No. A few minutes after a scan places a test order, Clatree deletes it, so it never lands in your sales stats or your store metrics. We always recommend that if you use third-party plugins or integrations, you check beforehand whether leaving Test Orders enabled could cause other tools to treat these orders as real transactions, potentially affecting your statistics or generating unnecessary invoices.
Absolutely not. Our tests are built to stay out of your customers' way. They never see Clatree, and it never interferes with anyone buying from you.
Yes, of course. As often as you want, with no limit. Our system checks your cart and checkout at set intervals, runs full path-to-purchase tests, and places a test order if you switch that option on. On top of all that, you can fire off a test yourself from the Clatree panel any time you like.
With Clatree you have that option, but you can also choose our test payment gateway. We recommend making the test as real as possible, because the whole point is to mirror the path your customer actually takes. That said, we understand your store may only accept card payments, for instance, or some other method you would rather not test. So we also give you option B: routing test orders through Clatree's test gateway. And of course, no real money is ever transferred in any case. As you can see, Clatree is very flexible, and the choice is yours.
We do not collect your customers' data, because we do not need it to deliver the service. At Clatree, user privacy is the top priority. That is why we keep the data we do collect to the absolute minimum. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Of course. If you do not have the time or the patience for setup, we will do it for you, completely free. During onboarding you can pick that option, send us the details we need, and we will take the whole thing off your hands.
Your store has to run on WordPress with WooCommerce, and you need the rights to it, as owner or authorised representative. That is it. We plan to support other platforms down the road, but for now the service covers stores built on WordPress only.
