Multicollab is a wordpress approval workflow plugin built to work perfectly with Gutenberg versions 14.2 to 16.7 and is consistently being updated to work with the latest versions of Gutenberg as they roll out. Unfortunately, the WordPress Classic Editor isn’t as versatile as Gutenberg and isn’t as good at handling collaboration and editing. That means that Multicollab doesn’t work on the classic editor – we recommend switching to Gutenberg instead and experiencing Multicollab’s collaboration mode in WordPress.
