No. ComptaFlow UK by MeeTempo is an accounting entry assistance tool. It helps you maintain your daily bookkeeping with a guided system. For annual validation, year-end closing, Corporation Tax returns, and official HMRC submissions, we recommend working with a qualified accountant.
The free version includes five CSV exports: * Audit Trail - Full journal entries export (HMRC compliant) * Trial Balance - Account balances for a period * Nominal Ledger - Detailed movements by account * Journal - Chronological list of all entries * Profit & Loss - Revenue and expenses summary
The plugin supports: * Not VAT Registered - For businesses below the threshold (currently £90,000) * Standard VAT - Quarterly returns * Flat Rate Scheme - Simplified VAT calculation * Annual Accounting Scheme - Annual return with interim payments
Yes. All your accounting data stays in your WordPress database. The free version makes no external API calls except for the optional Companies House lookup. Your financial information never leaves your server.
By default, the plugin uses the standard UK tax year (6 April to 5 April). For limited companies, you can set a custom accounting year end in Settings. The most common choice for companies is 1 April to 31 March.
