Log in to your Convolyn dashboard, open your chatbot, and go to the Embed tab. Your Bot ID is the value shown there.
Make sure "Enable widget" is ticked and a valid Bot ID is saved. Some caching plugins may need a cache flush after you change the setting.
The plugin itself makes no server-side network calls. It only outputs the official Convolyn widget script, which your visitors' browsers load from convolyn.com.
