What you sell, at what price, against which competitors, is still up to you — but a store that doesn't speak the protocol isn't in the running at all.

Agent orders are marked as such in WooCommerce (created_via = ucp), so you can filter and report on that revenue separately.

No. Installing and activating it sends nothing anywhere. Your store contacts ecentic for the first time only when an administrator clicks Connect to ecentic.ai, and it stops the moment you revoke the key.

Your products, the store details needed to answer agents (currency, shipping options, links to your legal pages, your settings), and the orders agents place. It uses a WooCommerce API key you approve yourself and can revoke at any time. Payment secrets such as your Stripe key and customer passwords never leave your site.

Only if you switch on server-side Stripe payments and have the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway set up. Otherwise the agent creates an unpaid order and the buyer pays on your own checkout page. Either way, you remain the merchant of record.

An optional feature that lets a customer link their account with your store to their AI assistant, so it can do things like look up their order history. They sign in and approve it on your own site, never on a third party's.

Under WooCommerce → UCP (AI Agents): list the platforms you allow, set an API key, require signed requests, or set a request limit. Leave it all open if you'd rather any agent can find and buy from you.
