No. Everything listed above works without one.

Yes. Add up to three questions under the chat window settings, as short text or tappable choices, and mark the ones you always need as required. The answers are written into the WhatsApp message.

No. In the free button the answers only go into the WhatsApp or email message the visitor sends. With a Wapadesk account they are saved as a lead.

Yes. On WooCommerce product pages it can add a button next to "Add to cart", and the start message can include the product name, SKU and price. In Divi, Elementor and other page builders, use the [wapadesk_button] shortcode or the wapadesk-open class. The button is hidden while you edit in a builder.

It is plain JavaScript with no dependencies, loaded deferred in the footer. The QR code script loads only on desktop when the window opens.

No. It keeps the visit source and whether the window was already shown in the browser's session storage for that tab only.
