Yes. Supported paragraphs, headings and list items can be edited directly on the front end. Classic content also works when Frontpen can safely match the text to its stored HTML.
Select words inside one editable region and click Insert/edit link, or press Ctrl/Cmd+K. Search for a published post or page, select the result, then click Apply link. Save changes if autosave is disabled.
Enter edit mode and click the link. Change its URL and click Apply link, or choose Remove link to keep the text without the hyperlink. Links work normally outside edit mode.
Frontpen makes manual internal linking and content updates easier. It saves standard HTML links and offers sponsored and nofollow controls. Choose relevant destinations and descriptive link text. Frontpen does not generate SEO titles, meta descriptions, sitemaps or automated link suggestions, and does not guarantee rankings.
Published posts and pages exposed through the site's WordPress REST API. It is a site-content search, not a web search or broken-link scanner. If search is unavailable, paste the destination URL instead.
Frontpen edits post content rather than SEO-plugin metadata. It does not add competing title tags, meta descriptions or sitemaps. No dedicated integration with those plugins is included; test your site's combination on staging.
Autosave saves after typing pauses and when leaving a text region. With autosave disabled, use Save changes, Ctrl/Cmd+S inside a region, or Done. Clicking away from the text does not save in manual mode.
Your unsaved text remains on the page. Retry a connection failure with Save changes. When Frontpen reports a conflict, copy your unsaved text before reloading. Conflict checks reduce accidental overwrites but are not a shared real-time editor or an exclusive post lock.
After a successful save in the current page session, Undo last save restores the previous differing WordPress revision and reloads the page. Revisions must be enabled. Each region saves separately, so Undo restores the last revision, not an entire multi-region session.
