Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about GoalPrevail Sales Pop

Yes, when Automatic — WooCommerce is selected. The plugin uses recent orders whose status WooCommerce considers paid. Manual mode uses the entries configured by the administrator.
Yes. WooCommerce supplies the automatic paid-order data. Manual entry remains available as an alternate source.
By default, the popup says "Someone" and displays the billing country, first purchased product and real time since payment. You may explicitly enable the billing first name. The plugin never sends surnames, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, postcodes, order numbers or order IDs to the browser. Store owners remain responsible for choosing settings appropriate to their privacy obligations.
Up to 20 of the newest orders in statuses WooCommerce considers paid, normally Processing and Completed. The list is cached for five minutes and refreshed when an order is created, updated or changes status. If no paid orders are available, no popup assets are loaded.
A new popup appears every 7–10 seconds by default, and each stays visible for 5 seconds. Both are configurable.
No tracking of any kind, and the front end makes no external requests. In automatic mode, WordPress places only the displayed event fields described above into the local page script. In manual mode, the popups are built in the browser from the configured entry pools. The one exception is entirely in the admin: the GoalPrevail Plugins dashboard screen asks the official WordPress.org plugin API (api.wordpress.org) which other GoalPrevail plugins exist, so it can list them. That request only happens when you open that screen, and a successful catalog response is cached for 24 hours. As part of the standard WordPress request, WordPress.org receives the WordPress version and site home URL in the HTTP user-agent, along with the catalog query parameters. The dashboard may then load plugin icons from WordPress.org's plugin asset CDN.
