No. It is an independent add-on. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rock Lobster Inc., the makers of Contact Form 7.

Edit the form, click star rating in the form-tag generator, set the options, and insert the tag. Then put the matching mail-tag, such as [your-rating], in the Mail template.

Check Required field in the generator, or add an asterisk to the tag name: [hbwa_starrating* your-rating]. An empty required rating uses Contact Form 7’s standard required-field message.

Yes. Give each field its own name, for example [hbwa_starrating quality-rating] and [hbwa_starrating support-rating], and add both mail-tags to the Mail template.

Themes: gold, ember, ocean, forest, and mono. Sizes: sm, md, lg, and xl. Example: [hbwa_starrating your-rating theme:ocean size:lg].

Yes. Turn on Allow half-star ratings, or add half to the tag. Visitors can then choose steps of 0.5, and a half-filled star is shown.

On a 5-star scale they are Poor, Fair, Good, Very good, and Excellent. The words appear beside the stars while the pointer is over them or while the rating is focused. A half-star uses the nearest whole-number label. Scales other than 5 use “1 star”, “2 stars”, and so on.

Not from the tag generator. Use nolabel (or Hide live label text) if you do not want the words shown. The email still includes the default label for that score.

Add default: to the tag, for example [hbwa_starrating your-rating default:4]. The value must fit the scale and the half-star setting.
