If you choose the "Google API" mode, yes. You will need to create a Service Account in Google Cloud, enable the Search Console API, and provide the JSON key. If you choose the "NO API" mode (Premium), you do not need any Google Cloud account or technical configuration.

Automatically, with Premium: switch to the Bing view and run "Check PREMIUM" on your posts, with no Bing Webmaster Tools account needed. For free, each row has a link that opens Bing's own "url:" lookup for that page. Bing offers no free API to check indexing (its search API was shut down in 2025), so there is no free automatic check.
