Kodo tracks sales in two ways: through unique discount codes assigned to each influencer, and through referral links (e.g. yourstore.com?ref=influencer1). When a customer uses a discount code or arrives via a referral link, the sale is automatically attributed to the correct influencer.

No. Kodo automatically handles referral link tracking without any theme modifications. The plugin captures referral parameters and attaches them to orders behind the scenes.

You set commission rates per influencer — either a percentage of each sale or a fixed amount. Kodo calculates commissions automatically and supports payouts through Stripe Connect.

Yes. Each discount code can have its own commission type (percentage or fixed amount) and rate. You can customize commission terms per influencer or campaign.

Kodo creates and manages its own discount codes through the WooCommerce API. Existing coupons created outside of Kodo are not affected and will continue to work normally.

Your transaction and commission data is securely stored on Kodo's cloud infrastructure. The plugin communicates with Kodo's API over HTTPS. No sensitive customer payment information is stored by Kodo — only order amounts, discount codes used, and referral attribution data.

Uninstalling does not automatically cancel subscription. All the created data within Woocommerce will remain the same. Inbound (Kodo → your store) After connecting, Kodo may call back to two REST endpoints the plugin registers under the kodo/v1 namespace: one to complete the connection handshake, and one to push influencer discount codes into your store as WooCommerce coupons. These inbound requests are verified with the credentials established during the Connect handshake (a token check and an HMAC signature, respectively). The plugin itself does not initiate these calls.
