Yes! Kogility Bookkeeping is fully compatible with WooCommerce HPOS (Custom Order Tables) and traditional WordPress post storage.

This plugin adds a Cost (_cost) field and a UPC (_upc) field to Simple products and to Variable product variations. If another cost plugin is detected, Kogility leaves those fields alone so they are not duplicated. Cost of goods reporting — the COGS column, the COGS total, and profit that deducts product cost — is part of Kogility Bookkeeping Pro, which is distributed separately and is not included here.

No. Receipts are stored outside the public media library in a directory that denies direct web requests, and are streamed only to logged-in users who can manage WooCommerce.

Uninstalling removes the plugin's settings, the expenses ledger table and any uploaded receipts, because the ledger is the only index to those files. Export anything you need to keep first. Your WooCommerce data is left untouched, including product costs and UPCs and the per-order cost records used by historical reports.

Not in this plugin. The cost you type is stored on the product. Reports in this plugin do not deduct product cost. Kogility Bookkeeping Pro records the unit cost onto each order line at the time of sale, so a later change to the product does not rewrite a closed period.
