Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about M7tawa Instant Edit

No. M7tawa Instant Edit is intentionally designed for quick frontend corrections, not full article editing. The normal WordPress editor remains available for complete editing work. Instant Edit works with content created using either the Classic Editor or the Block Editor.

It is ideal for fast corrections such as fixing a typo, changing a word or sentence, updating a link, editing a short paragraph or heading, applying basic formatting, or removing an image from post content without opening the full editor.

No. M7tawa Instant Edit does not write to or delete SEO post meta used by plugins such as Yoast SEO, Rank Math, AIOSEO, or SEOPress. It only updates the post title when title editing is used and the post content when content is edited. If you change the article text itself, an SEO plugin may calculate a different analysis score later because the content has changed. The saved SEO settings themselves remain untouched.

No. Image deletion only removes the image from the current post content. The media file remains in the WordPress Media Library.

Yes. Select the text on the frontend before opening Instant Edit. The plugin attempts to locate the same text inside the editor and move directly to it.

No. Frontend assets load only when a logged-in user has permission to edit the current supported post or page.

Posts and pages.

Yes. Saving does not require a full page reload, and the updated content is refreshed on the frontend after a successful save.
