Yes. This plugin connects your WordPress site to a Mignuti Chatbot project. Every account starts with a free 7-day trial; after that a paid plan is required (from 9 EUR per month, see https://chatbot.mignuti.com/en/pricing). Sign up at https://app.mignuti.com.
The platform runs on our own server in Germany. Answers come from a language model at Anthropic (USA) under EU standard contractual clauses; personal data in messages is masked before it is sent, and you can switch a chatbot to an EU-only model. In GDPR-safe consent mode the widget script is fetched from our CDN but opens no session, writes no storage and sends no message content until the visitor consents through your cookie banner. Visitors can delete their own conversation from the widget; data export and deletion for the whole site are self-service in the Mignuti Chatbot admin. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is concluded
Set the consent mode to "Wait for consent (GDPR-safe)". Then have your cookie banner call window.MignutiChatbot.setConsent('granted') when the visitor accepts, and window.MignutiChatbot.setConsent('denied') when they decline or withdraw.
Yes. The public Project ID is bound to the domains you allow in the Mignuti Chatbot admin, and every chat session is authorized by a short-lived token. The embed exposes no reusable secret. You can rotate the key any time from the admin.
Yes. The widget loads on your front-end pages, and you can hide it on the cart and checkout with a single checkbox under Display & visibility.
Yes. On the Mignuti Chatbot settings page, use Hide chatbot to remove the widget from your site with one click — your project stays connected and your settings are kept. Click Show chatbot to bring it back.
Yes. Under Display & visibility choose "Only on selected pages" or "Everywhere except selected pages" and enter the page/post IDs (comma-separated). You can also hide it for logged-in users and, on WooCommerce sites, on the cart and checkout.
Under Display & visibility → Consent plugin, pick your consent tool (Borlabs Cookie, Complianz, Cookiebot, Usercentrics or Real Cookie Banner) while the consent mode is "Wait for consent (GDPR-safe)". The chatbot then loads automatically once the visitor accepts your banner. If your tool is not listed, keep "None" and call window.MignutiChatbot.setConsent('granted') from your banner instead.
Use the Test connection button on the settings page. It reports whether the widget CDN and API are reachable, whether your key is valid, and whether this domain
connecting or changing settings.
