A UTF-8 CSV with a byte order mark (BOM). The BOM lets Excel and other spreadsheet apps detect the encoding so multi-byte text is not garbled.

No. User e-mail addresses, login names, and comment-author data are never exported. The only person-related field is the author's public display name, and it is off by default.

No. The featured image columns contain only the attachment ID, URL, and file name — metadata that already exists in your database. Image files are never downloaded, exported, or bundled, and no external request is made. You can turn the featured image columns off with a single checkbox on the Tools screen.

Posts, pages, and any public custom post type that has an admin list. On the Tools screen, custom post types are labelled "Custom post type: " so they are easy to recognise, and the "Export selected to CSV" bulk action is available on each of those list screens.

Only users with the WordPress export capability (administrators by default). The bulk action additionally confirms that you can edit each selected item before including it.

No. Neutrope Quick Export is read-only. It does not create options, post meta, custom tables, or cron jobs, so there is nothing to clean up on uninstall.

The Tools screen lets you set a maximum row count, capped at 10,000 per export to keep memory and time predictable. The bulk action exports exactly the items you selected.

No. There are no external requests, no tracking, and no analytics of any kind.
