Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about NowOrCry Deals

No. The page only holds an empty box; deals are fetched fresh from NowOrCry in the visitor's browser every time, with caching switched off for those requests.

A new page view shows a plain "See our deals on NowOrCry" link – never old deals. On a page that is already open, the deals it last loaded stay for at most 15 minutes, then the same link takes their place until NowOrCry answers again.

Revoke the key in NowOrCry (your store's Settings › API Keys). From the next page view the deal boxes are empty, even on cached pages. Revocation takes effect on the next validated refresh: a page someone already has open empties within 6 minutes, not instantly. Or press Disconnect in Settings › NowOrCry Deals.

Yes – paste any public NowOrCry deal link into a post.
