Go to Smart Add-ons > Add-ons and click Add New Add-on (or Products > Add New and select "Smart Add-on" as product type) Add variations with pricing, or use single add-on mode for one option In Smart Add-ons > Add-ons, click Manage Rules for the add-on you need to edit Configure assignments (e.g. all products, specific categories, or specific products)
Yes. You can assign add-ons to specific product categories. Pro users can also assign to specific products, tags, user roles, or individual users.
Exclusions prevent add-ons from appearing on specific products even when they match assignment rules. This is a Pro feature.
Yes. Each add-on can use single selection (radio buttons) or multiple selection (checkboxes). Color Swatches and Modern List use fixed selection modes.
Yes. Selected add-on prices are automatically added to the cart total.
Yes. Global add-ons work with all WooCommerce product types as long as they have a price displayed
Color Swatches is a Pro template. Select it for your add-on, then in the Variations tab set a Swatch Color for each variation. Variations without a color set will not appear on the frontend. Color variants display even if they have no price.
Add-ons can be displayed in several positions: before the Add to Cart button, after it, after the product meta, after the short description, or after the full product. Configure this in the display settings when managing rules for each add-on.
Use the Sort Priority field in each add-on's product data. Lower numbers appear first. You can also change priority in bulk from the Add-ons list.
Yes. Go to Smart Add-ons > Settings to customize primary color, price color, border style (sharp, rounded, or pill-shaped), and the label for free add-ons.
