No. The workbench updates the term name and leaves the existing slug unchanged.

It updates the standard WordPress _wp_attachment_image_alt value used by the Media Library and WordPress image functions. An empty value can be appropriate for a decorative image.

No. Creating a second copy of active SEO metadata could cause synchronization problems. The plugin updates the existing WordPress and Yoast SEO data instead.

No. For taxonomy terms, the complete existing Yoast metadata set is preserved and only the fields visible in the workbench are replaced.
