Critical CSS identifies the CSS rules required to render content in the user's initial screen (above the fold). The plugin generates this CSS directly in your browser, minifies it, and inlines it into the HTML head while deferring secondary stylesheets. This eliminates render-blocking CSS warnings in Google PageSpeed Insights.

By default, WooCommerce triggers an AJAX request (wc-cart-fragments) on every single page load to update the mini-cart count. On busy sites or non-eCommerce pages (like blog posts), this causes severe server load and slow Time to First Byte (TTFB). SOptimizer disables this request on non-shop pages while keeping the cart functional where needed.
Yes! SOptimizer works seamlessly with all major CDNs including Cloudflare, BunnyCDN, Fastly, and KeyCDN. If you use Cloudflare, upgrading to SOptimizer Pro allows you to connect the Cloudflare API to purge edge cache and manage DNS/cache settings right from WordPress.
In the JavaScript settings tab, simply enter the script handle or a URL keyword (e.g., jquery-core or custom-tracker.js) into the Exclusion list. The plugin will skip deferral for those specific scripts.
SOptimizer automatically purges relevant cached pages when you publish, edit, or delete posts, pages, or products. You can also manually purge the entire cache at any time using the Purge Cache button on the Optimize Dashboard or WordPress admin toolbar.
