Users subscribe by starting your bot (/start). Groups are registered when the bot is added to them. Channel members are managed by Telegram itself: the bot only needs to be an administrator of the channel.

Yes. Telegram only delivers WebHooks to HTTPS URLs, so your site must use a valid SSL certificate. Sending messages works anyway, but the bot can't receive messages without HTTPS (e.g. on localhost).

Make sure your site is reachable over HTTPS, then check Telegram → Dashboard and the log for errors. Caching or firewall plugins may block the WebHook endpoint: in that case exclude the WebHook endpoint shown in Telegram → Settings from cache and firewall rules.

Enable Zapier in the plugin settings and follow the invite link to set up your Zaps.
