Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Thank You Redirect for Gravity Forms

Yes. Each form has its own feed(s) with independent settings. Form A can use Thank You page A with a 5s delay while Form B uses page B with 10s, and Form C can have the feed disabled (its normal confirmation is preserved).
Yes. The add-on returns a redirect confirmation, which Gravity Forms core converts to an HTTP redirect for normal forms and a JS redirect for AJAX forms automatically.
The redirect URL contains only an opaque 32-character token. The return URL is stored server-side in a transient and the token is single-use: it is deleted the first time the Thank You page resolves it, so Thank You URLs cannot be replayed. Source-derived URLs must be same-site (enforced with wp_validate_redirect() and a host comparison); external destinations additionally require the "Allow external redirect URLs" opt-in, which is off by default. Visitor-supplied URLs can never redirect off-site. The front-end JS re-validates same-origin before redirecting.
Feeds are evaluated in feed order (then feed ID), and the first active, enabled feed whose conditional logic matches wins. Feeds belong to exactly one form, so forms can never share feeds.
Yes, by design: when an enabled feed matches, its Thank You redirect takes precedence over the form's text/page/redirect confirmations (including conditional ones). When no enabled feed matches, the original confirmation is preserved byte-for-byte.
The selected Thank You page ID is resolved per request via the wpml_object_id filter for the current language (wpml_current_language). No per-language configuration is needed. If a translation does not exist, WPML returns the original page. A basic Polylang fallback (pll_get_post) is included. All strings use the thank-you-redirect-for-gravity-forms text domain. RTL comes from the theme (is_rtl()); all CSS uses logical properties scoped to .gftr-thank-you.
The submission still succeeds; the form falls back to its original Gravity Forms confirmation. An invalid return URL falls back to the site home URL.
