No, and it works the same on a site without it. 13Sizer calls nothing of WooCommerce's own, loads none of its code and hooks none of it: it answers one question — which size — and hands the answer to whoever asked. On a product page it can go one step further and fill in the size dropdown, but it does that the way a customer would, by changing the dropdown the page already has. Whatever owns that dropdown reacts on its own; that is how the variation and the price follow.

Yes, as many as you have patterns. Each shortcode and each configurator step names the one it uses.

Yes. On a page that already has one, the modal fills it in and lets whatever owns it react — on a WooCommerce product that means the variation updates and the price with it. It works by finding the dropdown and changing it, the same as a customer would; the plugin calls nothing of WooCommerce's own. The chart's sizes have to be named exactly like the dropdown's options: a chart saying 10 finds 10, not Talla 10. Only an exact match counts, because guessing would eventually put somebody in the wrong size. If there is no match, the modal says the product does not offer that size instead of choosing something else. Use select="…" with a CSS selector to point at a specific dropdown; left out, WooCommerce's variation dropdowns are the target.
