Each test originates from a genuine local IP address — resolved and routed exactly as it would be for a user in that country. This means that your WordPress site is reached via the actual IP returned by local DNS resolution in the test country, ensuring correct CDN edge selection and bypassing geo-based blocks or firewall rules. This unique approach gives you accurate insights into how your website behaves globally — especially when served through CDNs, country-specific restrictions, or caching layers. Yes. UP Globe connects to https://api.up-globe.com to run global performance tests and display monitoring results.
Yes. Once you start a check, it runs externally on our monitoring infrastructure. You can safely close the browser, navigate to another page, or even shut down your device — the check will continue running in the background. Results will be available in the plugin interface once the check completes. There's no need to keep the plugin page open.
