Common questions about WP ParentComms Connect
Any UK school using OpenCheck (http://opencheck.atomwide.com) where parents and staff have installed the ParentComms mobile app for either Android or iOS and are subscribing to your school's status updates via OpenCheck within the app.
To obtain the token a member of school staff with administrative permissions will need to log in to the OpenCheck service. Users from LGfL/TRUSTnet schools simply need to be either a Nominated Contact or an OpenCheck administrator. Anyone from another school may sign up to use OpenCheck by visiting http://opencheck.atomwide.com and signing up for an account. Simply log in with a suitable authorised account, access the WordPress plugin page under the Admin tab and generate the required token.
