Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about WishCraft – Multiple & Shareable Wishlists

After the update, each user's 2.0 wishlist becomes their list "My wishlist", with the same items in the same order. This runs in the background in small batches. The 2.0 data is kept, and the "Smart Wish List" widget keeps working and shows the new lists.

Yes: WP eCommerce products (wpsc-product) are supported as a post type, and WooCommerce products are supported fully.

Yes. Their lists are kept for 30 days in their browser and move into their account when they log in or register. Developers can turn guest wishlists off with the wishcraft_settings option (guests set to false).

Use the Wishlist Button block in your product or post template, or the [wishcraft_button] shortcode. Inside a loop it uses the current post; elsewhere, pass the post or product ID: [wishcraft_button id="123"]. Add label="no" for a heart without text.

WooCommerce products when WooCommerce is active, otherwise posts. Developers can enable other post types with the wishcraft_supports_post_type filter.

On the wishlist page, choose Edit list and set "Who can see it" to Shared (anyone with the link) or Public. The share link appears above the list, with a copy button. Set the list back to Private to turn the link off.

WishCraft uses neutral styles that inherit your theme's fonts and colours. Override the --wishcraft-accent, --wishcraft-border, --wishcraft-muted, --wishcraft-surface and --wishcraft-radius CSS custom properties, or style the .wishcraft- classes.

Yes. Buttons and counters load the visitor's state after the page loads, so cached pages show each visitor their own wishlist.

Yes, under wishcraft/v1: lists, items, toggle, status and shared lists. See the project on GitHub for the routes.
