In Weighted Scoring mode, each answer assigns points to product properties (attributes, categories, tags, price range, ratings, etc.). When the quiz completes, every product in your catalog is scored and the top-scoring products are recommended. In Direct Mapping mode, each answer maps directly to specific products.

Yes. Conditional Logic lets you show or skip steps based on previous answers. For example, show a "Skin concerns" step only if the user selected "Skincare" in the first question. Steps are recalculated in real time after each answer.

Coupons are deduplicated by user ID, email, and session key. Retaking the quiz returns the same active coupon instead of generating a new one. Additionally, coupons are email-restricted (when Email Gate is active) and cart-validated (only work with quiz-recommended products in the cart).

Starts are only counted when the user takes a meaningful action — clicking "Start Quiz" on the Welcome Screen, or clicking "Next" on the first question. Simply loading the page does not count as a start.

Yes. The built-in Preview mode renders your quiz exactly as customers see it, with a device switcher for desktop, tablet, and mobile views. Welcome Screen and Email Gate are both visible in preview mode.

Yes. Shop Quiz works via shortcodes ([wpcsq_quiz], [wpcsq_btn]) which are compatible with Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, and any page builder that supports shortcodes.

Yes, the plugin is fully compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

When caching is enabled, identical answer combinations return cached product results instead of recalculating scores. Cache TTL is configurable from 1 hour to 7 days. Coupons are never cached — they always run through the deduplication logic.
