No. Everything is configured from the wp-admin settings page. No shortcode or code editing is required. You do need to create a Firebase project and paste its credentials and security rules, as described under "First-Time Setup".

No. The camera stream is processed in the visitor's browser by MediaPipe. The plugin does not store or transmit camera frames, images or video. What is stored is described under "Privacy and Data", including the approximate gender and age-range labels the widget estimates.

The widget estimates an approximate gender label and age range from facial landmark measurements in the browser, and these two labels are saved in your session analytics. They are estimates, not verified facts, and can be wrong. Because they are derived from the face, handle them with care and cover them in your privacy policy. The plugin currently has no setting to disable this estimation.

Firebase is Google's backend platform. The plugin uses its Firestore database to log verification sessions. You need your own free Firebase account and project; the plugin writes to the project whose credentials you enter in Settings. The plugin's author does not receive your visitors' data.

Yes. In Settings → Per-Product Video Management, you can assign a unique video URL to each WooCommerce product ID. Media Library uploads and external URLs are supported.

No. The widget plays the video in a standard HTML video player, so you need a direct video file URL (for example an MP4 or WebM file) from your Media Library or another host. YouTube and Vimeo page links are not supported.

The plugin is designed to keep data collection small: it does not store camera images or video, and it does not store names or email addresses in its own analytics log. However, it does use the camera, estimates demographics from facial measurements, and records verification results against logged-in customers' accounts. Whether your use is compliant depends on your own setup (privacy policy, consent, legal basis, hosting location and so on), so please have your own legal or compliance adviser review it rather than treating this as a guarantee.

Verification happens in the visitor's browser, so a determined person with technical skills could try to fake a verified session. The Firestore rules, Firebase App Check and WooCommerce's own coupon restrictions make this harder, but cannot rule it out. Keep rewards modest.

Uninstalling removes the plugin's Firebase credentials and coupon settings from your WordPress options. The session analytics log and any per-customer verification meta already saved in your WordPress database are not removed automatically, and nothing is deleted from your Firebase project. Delete that data yourself if you need to.
