Open the gallery and click "Update Gallery" for an instant refresh. Private videos (including ones scheduled to publish later) and deleted videos are skipped, and a video is added at the next sync once it becomes public. If an older video you've made public doesn't appear, click "Update Gallery".

Yes. Each gallery has a "Filter by Duration" option — set it to "Shorter Than 60 seconds" to build a Shorts-only gallery, or "Longer Than 60 seconds" to hide Shorts. There is also a 9:16 vertical aspect ratio for Shorts thumbnails and the player.
