Yes any format, which has a support possibility. You must only install and use it, in any version.
For change the width choose the version. You will see the " width " tab where you can choose that size, which width you want for your gallery.
For change the height choose your preferable version. In the options You will see the " height " tab where you can choose the height.
In the left side you will see " plugins ". Click to open a new page.
Click to add new button -> Search plugins. On empty line write your preferable plugin. Your preferable plugin you can find from WordPress large menu.
Clicking " install now " you will start the installation process.

To enable the feature add Madia Library images go to Photo Gallery > Options > General Options and select the Import from Media Library. Yes. Then you can import images from Media Library.
When you upload images for your gallery make sure to have a large dimension set within Image Upload settings. This way when you set up gallery in shortcode the image thumbnails will not be blurry.
What size images should I use?
Image size is not so important, because the final image will be reduced to the size of the circle. In this way, you just have to be sure, to select the size, that is at least as big as the size of the circle.
How to create multiple columns or gallery?
Our plugin allows you to determine the number of photos, to includ in each column and the number of columns.
Note that both values are absolute greatness. This means that regardless of the specific column numbers, if your template is lacking in width, the number of columns of photos will be reduced to a supported field
