No. WPChat is built for performance. The chat widget loads asynchronously using lightweight code, so it has zero impact on your page speed.

The free version includes one agent profile. WPChat Pro lets you add unlimited agents, each with their own availability schedule and automatic chat routing.

Yes. WPChat works on any WordPress page, including WooCommerce product pages, cart pages, and checkout pages. Add WhatsApp chat to your online store to answer customer questions and reduce cart abandonment.

WPChat sets no cookies on page load. After a visitor interacts with the widget it sets an analytics session cookie (24 hours), an anonymous guest ID cookie (30 days) and a browser-session chat cookie. Interaction analytics (user agent, page URL, referrer, FAQ search terms) are stored in your site database for 365 days and can be turned off in WPChat > Settings or with the wpchat_analytics_enabled filter. With smart search on, FAQ search text is sent to api.wpchat.com. Chat conversations happen in WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, or Instagram, not on WPChat's servers. Chat funnels are interactive, multi-step conversation flows available in WPChat Pro. They guide visitors through pre-built questions to qualify leads, answer common queries, and direct them toward a purchase or action - all automatically.

In the free version, you can show or hide the chat widget globally. WPChat Pro adds advanced visibility controls so you can target specific pages, categories, tags, or custom post types.

Add up to 10 frequently asked questions in the free version (unlimited in Pro). Visitors see these FAQs inside the chat widget with a search bar, so they can find answers without starting a chat.
