Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Tech Dragon Mail Conduit
It routes supported MailPoet messages from MailPoet's Web Host / PHPMail sending path into WordPress wp_mail(). Your existing WordPress mailer can then handle the downstream mail path.
No. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is a bridge into the WordPress mail pipeline. It does not provide its own SMTP transport or email service.
No. It is designed to work with the WordPress mail setup you already use. Once a supported MailPoet message reaches wp_mail(), your configured WordPress mail/SMTP plugin or the normal WordPress mail path handles what happens next.
No. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit does not store or configure SMTP usernames, passwords, API keys, or other provider credentials.
Yes. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit Free includes the complete functional and safety-critical MailPoet-to-WordPress-mail bridge. Pro is not required for routing, message/header preservation, recursion protection, safe failure handling, or compatibility safeguards.
Pro adds optional verification, monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and support tooling, including Test My MailPoet Stack, Bridge Setup Check, Send Path Inspector, Configuration Drift Detection, detailed compatibility and health information, bridge activity assurance, Recent Bridge Issues, advanced diagnostics, a Sanitized Support Report, and direct email support.
No. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit bridges and can validate the local WordPress send path within its documented scope. Provider acceptance, DNS authentication, sender reputation, filtering, delivery, and inbox placement are outside that scope.
Tech Dragon Mail Conduit 1.1.1 is officially tested with MailPoet 5.38.0 through 5.40.0 inclusive and with MailPoet 5.43.0. Other versions may still be structurally compatible, but they are not automatically considered officially tested.
No. MailPoet is a third-party product. Tech Dragon Mail Conduit is an independent integration and does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by MailPoet.
The Free bridge remains the complete functional and safety-critical bridge. Pro entitlement controls the optional Pro validation, monitoring, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and direct-support features; it does not gate the core MailPoet-to-wp_mail() bridge.
