Log in to your Trackbase dashboard and copy them from the Analytics Tracking and Crawler Analytics sections respectively.

No. Hits are sent using a non-blocking HTTP request, so the response is returned to the visitor before we send anything to Trackbase.

No. This plugin detects crawlers directly in PHP, so it works on any WordPress host.

Page-cache plugins serve stored HTML before WordPress runs, so crawler visits to cached pages never reach this plugin. Under Trackbase > Cache compatibility, enable Bypass page cache for AI crawlers. The plugin then registers the AI crawler user agents (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others, but not search engines) with your caching plugin so those requests reach WordPress and are recorded. Supported caching plugins: WP Rocket, WP Super Cache (Simple delivery mode only), W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache and WP Fastest Cache. For server-level caches (Nginx FastCGI, Varnish, Kinsta, WP Engine, Cloudflare APO) add the listed user agents to the cache's exclusion list manually. The setting is off by default and adds a little server load for AI crawler requests only.

Leave the project ID and crawler key fields empty (or clear them) and save. The plugin will not contact Trackbase servers when both fields are empty.
